Height of mata pelanduk is between 0.5 to 3 meters. Leaves are simple, ellipse and its size is between 0.5 to 5.5cm. both smooth and hairy surfaces peruratan vein pinnate but obscure except for the main vein. Jampu red flowers. Principal point mata pelanduk with a small fruit is red when ripe.
Trees are usually grown in the bush and secondary forest.
Use
Mata Pelanduk at the stem can be used to treat scabies. Stacked on the stem bark very finely and mix with coconut oil and brimstone (sulfur) in a ratio that is applied to the sores..
The shoots of mata pelanduk can be used to treat fever. A handful of top mixed in water to root out the mucus or mashed very finely and mix water and filtered. Water used for washing the head every day
